How this site makes money

Nonprofit Software Guide is a free, independent publication. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and later start a paid plan with that vendor, the vendor pays this site a commission. You pay nothing extra, and in some cases you pay less: where a vendor offers a reader discount through our link, we note it next to the link.

What that means in practice

  • Links that route through this site's tracking (our /go/ links) may earn a commission.
  • Affiliate relationships never decide a recommendation. Several of the tools we recommend most strongly, including Zeffy and Little Green Light, pay us nothing.
  • We do not accept payment for placement, rankings, or reviews. No vendor sees content before it publishes.
  • Prices and terms come from vendor pricing pages and are checked on a regular schedule. Vendors change pricing; always confirm current terms on the vendor's site before buying.

Our relationship with vendors

We want the software companies we cover to succeed. Good fundraising software makes nonprofits more effective, and the best way to evaluate any tool on this site is to take the vendor up on a demo or free trial and test it against your own data. When we recommend booking a demo, that is the recommendation: see it yourself before you decide.
